TheĀ Hawke Optics 10x42 Endurance ED BinocularsĀ are a full size, roof prism binocular with 10x magnification featuring phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, extra low-dispersion (ED) glass, and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics. A versatile and capable optic that produces bright and clear high-contrast images with true colour rendition and very low colour fringing. Coupled with the optical features the 42mm diameter objectives give the Hawke Endurance binoculars very competent low-light performance and ideally suited for most outdoor activities from hunting, to birding, to sporting events.
The Hawke Endurance ED 10x42 chassis is made from a polycarbonate that is impact and corrosion-resistant and have a green colour rubber armouring. It is also temperature-resistant, so the optical tubes won't expand and contract with temperature fluctuation. The optical tubes are wrapped with rubber armouring which not only protects them from drops and impacts, it also gives the binocular a slip-resistant grip - especially in cold and wet weather. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fog proof - making it a great choice even for extreme weather conditions.
